Records, [circa 1861 through at least 1862 and possibly later], of women's contributions of money and supplies to the Confederate Army as part of the Ridgeway Relief Association in Fairfield District, S.C.; initial membership list identifies 22 married and single women, with Mrs. S. E. Means identified as president. Papers list each member's contributions of money, blankets, socks; clothing sewn "for Maryland soldiers"; list of uniforms made for Captain Henry Campbell Davis' company; as well as donations of chickens, eggs, potatoes, etc. sent to a hospital in Columbia, S.C., on 16 Oct. [1862?].
